Owned by the Shepherd family for 9 years Magician has been to RI and HOYS every year either as a First Ridden or WHP and has previously been 2nd at HOYS twice in the WHP. Bea Shepherd started riding him nine years ago, the reins were handed over to her younger brother for two years but Bea has now taken the ride on again for the last two years.

Shetland Performance and all involved are very sad to learn of the passing of Mrs Marie Brooker of the Clothie Stud this morning.
Twice President of the Society and a founder member of the Pony Breeders of Shetland Association Marie actively shared her passion for the breed and leaves behind a wonderful legacy that we should all cherish.
Our thoughts are with Marie’s family & many friends at this sad time.
The National Stallion show which was scheduled to be held at it's new venue Morris Equestrian Centre, Fenwick, Ayshire this weekend has now been rescheduled for the 11th March due to the extreme weather conditions.
The Stallion Show showcases the Scottish native Breeds, the Clydesdale, Highland and Shetland and had 145 Shetland entries who will hopefully all be able to make the new date.
