Outstanding racing Shetland, this pony lives to race. He is well known in the Shetland Performance display team and is hard to beat. He enjoys his job as a racing Shetland so much.

Owned for 7 years both my boys have raced Eric (brought as a 3 year old, now 10) and now it is sadly time to move on. He has been ridden by a variety of children but is best suited to a child who isn’t nervous and wants to get on with the job- and win! He is fast!

He isn’t suited to a child clinging onto his mouth as he likes to get on with the job. Doesn’t bat an eyelid or spook at any shows and when he is racing he is consistently good at his job and knows exactly what to do and doesn’t need any input from the rider. He can put an excited buck in when walking to the start line but this is more so if a child hangs onto his mouth.

Extremely handsome he would thrive in working Hunter classes and has done a few. Has done mini camp in the past several times but is currently very fit. Has hunted but dislikes hounds around his back legs.

Has manageable quirks on the ground, will be disclosed.
