Top quality show miniature Shetland gelding for sale.

Ardanbeag Loudon known as ‘Louis’ at home is a top quality miniature show Shetland with fantastic breeding, good bone and lots of mane/tail.

Louis has been successfully shown by his breeder before myself, with strong results (which can be found on Grassroots) including winning best miniature Shetland gelding at the 2021 Royal highland show. Over the past two years he has done local in hand showing with myself with great results and championships. 

He is good for the farrier, to bath, load etc. happily travels in both lorry and trailer. Up to date with feet, teeth, vaccines, wormer. Has mainly lived out but also happy to be stabled overnight. Super easy to take out and has been taken to shows on his own over the past two years with no fuss. 

​Has potential as a driven or ridden pony however this is not something I have pursued.


Very sad sale of much loved pony but change in personal circumstances forces difficult decision and he’s too special to be sat in a field. 5* home an absolute priority.
