Leah Donald & Horninglow Penruddock having a great day at NCPA pony of the year show.Leah said “what a lovely show ran by lovely people,very efficiently no wins but good placings and some lovely comments from judges and spectators- play spot the tiny Shetland in the line up of top 6 in mixed height class.

Our display team had a lovely time at Froome Cheese show & raised lots of money in donations from the ring side alone. All money goes to The Wallace & Gromit appeal at Bristol Childrens Hospital. We are very proud of each & everyone of you.

Now some fabulous news from over the Irish Sea & by kind permission of Marie Bell of the Northern Ireland Shetland Group.
The Champion of the unaffilated classes was the winner of the Fancy Dress class Alicia Reid & Zennor Swift. In reserve was the Open ridden Glenlough Persuasion & Heather Steele.
All having a great time & a very warm was given to their new junior members Isla Hanna & Shannon Harte, who not only looks like she had fun but I’m sure has made lots of new friends along the way. Many congratulations to you all.
Even Judges Ian Spence & Sue Pye having ago at their Puissance classes, they even requested a judges class, such good sports.. We hear that Sue Pye came out on top!

Chaps Championships

What an amazing haul of rosettes from the CHAPS Championships for Ella and Lacey. Just look at that fence clearance not only by the ponies but the handler too, that deserved an extra rosette!!
"Just wanted to report that Ella Defty and Hykos Endeavour together with Lacey Wake and Birchmoor Amelia had a fabulous time at Chaps Champs winning enormous rosettes of all colours! They competed in both the flat classes as well as the jumping. Well done girls excellent riding as always and ponies were very well behaved and looked after their little jockeys in the evening performance."

"We went to local RC Show Penkridge today with Lornarth Gethins Flame and Skye Lilly Powell. Won 1 x 1st. 2 x 2nds and Reserve In hand Champion. From ridden to Champion what a little star. I'm chuffed, he's had so many children on him this summer I'm very proud to be his mum lol!"

When you have that many rosettes and sashes you nearly disappear under them which is exactly what happened to 5yr old Scarlett Sharp & Broadspring Tango today at the GB Rider Championships when they went Overall Supreme winning the first ridden and the mountain and moorland class then the under 16rs supreme and Overall Supreme.
