Very well bred and kept entire as I believe he would make a very good stud stallion, equally he could be gelded as he has such a lovely temperament would be a great ridden pony.

By the multiple champion in hand and under saddle Brinleyview Comanchee, out of an Ulverscroft mare (with Belmont breeding).
Dams sire is another multiple champion in hand and under saddle Briar Priccolo.

Vinnie has a lovely quiet temperament, he can live in or out and is next to mares with no bother. He has been handled by children.
We took him to the breed show, he was lovely to bath trim load etc, just a little green in the ring and finished 2nd in a strong class.

Top quality show miniature Shetland gelding for sale.

Ardanbeag Loudon known as ‘Louis’ at home is a top quality miniature show Shetland with fantastic breeding, good bone and lots of mane/tail.

Louis has been successfully shown by his breeder before myself, with strong results (which can be found on Grassroots) including winning best miniature Shetland gelding at the 2021 Royal highland show. Over the past two years he has done local in hand showing with myself with great results and championships.

He is good for the farrier, to bath, load etc. happily travels in both lorry and trailer. Up to date with feet, teeth, vaccines, wormer. Has mainly lived out but also happy to be stabled overnight. Super easy to take out and has been taken to shows on his own over the past two years with no fuss.

Has potential as a driven or ridden pony however this is not something I have pursued.

Very sad sale of much loved pony but change in personal circumstances forces difficult decision and he’s too special to be sat in a field. 5* home an absolute priority.

Probably one of the prettiest shetlands there is.

Bought last April and backed by a 11 and 8 year old with the exception of 3 rides by lightweight adults. He has been easy to do from the get go. Slowly brought on, done Arena hires, and local shows where he has mopped up ribbons. He hacks on and off the lead, ridden off the lead by an older child but not ready to take novice riders off the lead as too green and still unpredictable but I know in a bit more time he will do this job.
On the lead he is such a poppet, the children do him on the ground by themselves, even a tiny 5 year old can lead him, load him, pick out his feet.
Ideal home would either be a showing home who want to compete in the lead rein, he will go all the way to the top in this job, where there is an older sibling who can continue his schooling.
He’s more like a dog than any pony I’ve ever known.
Every horse and human adores him.

A ‘Star’ in the making - A fabulous opportunity for somebody wanting to put their own stamp on a future superstar. Coloured Shetland Ponies of top quality are few and far between, and if / when you do find them they are not readily made available.

A special boy who has everything there. He is beautifully marked with a big frame to fill, already possessing masses of hair. He is a huge, scopey, ground covering mover and carefully produced will be an absolute eye full of a pony.

Star was purchased to grow on as a future ridden superstar for us here but recent circumstances find me having to sacrifice many of these plans.

He is 2024 born, fully registered, 2yo Colt he is a Dutch imported pony by the renowned and extremely successful huge moving piebald stallion ‘G-Star’. He is a good height already and is expected to make an up to height pony at full maturity.

Star is a kind and quiet colt who is never confrontational with other ponies or people alike. Very well socialised, he knows no different to that of the life of a gelding. Grown on naturally, not pushed or pumped.

A very sad sale, but unfortunately we can't keep her until her current jockey is ready to ride her off lead, and we can't keep the jockey on the lead all the time any longer or she will never progress! Elsa was worked with slowly last winter, worked from the ground by 6 and 10 year olds, backed in spring and this summer has been ridden by a variety of child riders and been out to

quite a few events seeing marquees, sound systems, fairground rides, busy agricultural shows and more and taking it all in her stride.

She is still green and needs further producing, however she does work nicely in all 3 paces and goes over poles and small jumps. She has seen traffic, farm machinery, games equipment, fancy dress etc. She has been hacking on the roads, worked in a busy arena, in fields, cross country course, PC rallies, working hunter clinics, 'races' in the fields with friends, shows on grass and surface and both group and private lessons. She has done some lovely lead rein and in hand showing this year, always coming home with plenty of rosettes and championships, and even took my daughter to be our local riding club overall junior showing champion! She has had lots of lovely comments from the judges that have seen her this season. I wouldn't recommend her as a first ridden at the moment due to being young and green, though she could be when she has had time to mature.

She has huge potential, but to go any further in any sphere, she needs a home with the knowledge and time to work with her over winter to have her ready for next season. Our time is limited, otherwise we would be putting the work in ourselves to continue showing her at a higher level on the lead and in hand next season. Off the lead she needs a strong and confident rider to harness her attitude and go off and live life in the fast lane with her! With time and education, she could turn her hoof to anything!

She is a little black fluffy ball of sass! She is happy enough to stand and be groomed, though will make her feelings known if she's not happy. She's a sensitive soul, and needs a home who knows shetlands and has the time and patience to spend with her, as she will take time to trust you, and who wants a friend to go off and have fun with.
