Royal Northern spring show

A very Cold and snowy day for the Royal Northern Spring Show today at Thainstone Agricultural Centre with approx 26 Miniatures forward and 2 Standards braving the elements, fortunately there were indoor rings!
We have the below results from Ann Irvine who had a great day with her ponies, well done Ann.
Rocky of Haybrake Mini Champion, Best bred by Exhibitor, Best Coloured (other that black) and 1st in stallion class
Midnight of Ore 2nd
Minuet of Ore 2nd
Mojo of Haybrake 3rd
Ellie of Haybrake 4th
Peedie Pop of Haybrake 4th
Buster of Haybrake 6th

Lovely to hear from one of our Inhand Award Scheme members Sarah Cotton and Chasend Monarch of The Glen with their first outing of the year yesterday at NPS Area 7, Bury Farm.
'William' picked up a 4th in the NPS/LEYHILLS M&M IN-HAND WINTER CHAMPIONSHIP & P(UK) IN HAND small breeds class and a 5th in the P(UK) IN HAND PIEBALD/SKEWBALD HORSE/PONY CHAMPIONSHIP.

One of the great stories & some fabulous photos submitted to us recently by Marley's owner Lisa Walker that we in turn shared with the Native Pony Magazine:
"We collected Marley from Stonecellars Shetland Ponies as an 18 month old colt after going to view another pony and Marley grabbing by jacket for attention when I stood outside his stable– he chose me so I decided it was fate!
We had recently started running a business – Mini Pony Hire – with our original Shetland, Smurf and wanted a youngster to be a companion and in time, become another pony that could be taken to parties and events.
