Chaps 2017 youngstock champion

Here is Czar of Catchpool, a 2yo colt by Brinleyview Camanchee, this is photo of us receiving our Performance Award 2017 at the CHAPS UK Championship Show. He was this years Youngstock Champion, absolutely thrilled with him. Earlier this year we were at the South & West Wales Group Summer Show where he won the Progeny Pairs class with his dad! He has an amazing temperament just like his father, we are very much looking forward to the 2018 show season! And of course the 2018 Performance Show & Breed Show! Laura Butters

Mali & Kenvig Kiss me kate

7yr old Mali Morgan-Jones attended the Wales and Borders presentation evening last night to receive the Champion Shetland 4yrs+ and Champion Young Handler awards in the association's 2017 points scheme having been accumulating points throughout the year for 1st to 3rd show placings.
Mali loves showing her miniature mare Kenvig Kiss Me Kate and is totally dedicated to Shetlands. She likes to do a lot of the preparation herself with all her hard work this year paying off!

Lerwick Pony Sale Report

The 58th Annual Lerwick Shetland Pony Show and Sale was held on Friday 6th October 2017 at the Shetland Rural Centre. The Pony Breeders of Shetland Association (PBSA) in conjunction with Shetland Livestock Marketing Group (SLMG) and Aberdeen and Northern Marts (ANM) once again hosted the sale of registered pedigree ponies. There were 75 ponies entered for the sale with 74 forward, a slight increase on numbers from 2016 and once again all very good quality ponies.....
