Lucy Richardson Shetland Performance and all involved are very sad to learn of the passing of Mrs Marie Brooker of the Clothie Stud this morning.
Twice President of the Society and a founder member of the Pony Breeders of Shetland Association Marie actively shared her passion for the breed and leaves behind a wonderful legacy that we should all cherish. Our thoughts are with Marie’s family & many friends at this sad time. The National Stallion show which was scheduled to be held at it's new venue Morris Equestrian Centre, Fenwick, Ayshire this weekend has now been rescheduled for the 11th March due to the extreme weather conditions.
The Stallion Show showcases the Scottish native Breeds, the Clydesdale, Highland and Shetland and had 145 Shetland entries who will hopefully all be able to make the new date. For more information on the show click here. |
