A hugely successful Sale at 50th Annual sale at Reading today for Shetland Performance Show sponsors, Thimbleby & Shorland with 221 ponies entered many prices were over 1000 guineas and some reached well over 2000 guineas with buyers from all over Great Britain, Europe and Japan. Top price of the day went to lot 123 - Mardlebrook Xanthe - Miniature Grey Roan, Filly Foal from Mr.C.L Pearse who made 2700 guineas. Our very own Mrs. Vivien Hampton judged the pre show sale: Overall Show Champion - Lakehead Meera - 640 guineas Reserve Show Champion - Trelaske Jaunty - 1350 guineas Champion Foal - Shallowater Iris - 600 guineas 1 Guinea = £1.05
