The 3rd post in our series introducing you to the 2018 HOYS Shetlands, this time introducing those qualified for the Brineton/Kare Plus Mountain and Moorland First Ridden Pony of the year;

1. Lotuspoint Cassius
Owned by Rachel Brightmore - Ridden by Olivia Brightmore
Qualified at NPS Area 4 North of England Summer Show.

3. Briar Snowman
Owned by Lucy Richardson - Ridden by Lily Richardson
Qualified at Cheshire County Show

2. Sharptor Bellisima
Owned by Julian Walters - Ridden by Grace Litherland
Qualified at Royal Three Counties Show (2nd to Mumbo Jumbo)

There are 23 ponies in the First Ridden Finals
​13 x Sec A, 5 x Dartmoor, 3 x Shetland, 2 x Sec B.

Lotuspoint Cassius returns to HOYS for his 2nd year competing in the D/E/S in 2017.
Sharptor Belisima was 4th last year in the First Ridden and has also qualified this year in the D/E/S final & Small Breeds Junior M&M Ridden Pony of the Year.
Briar Snowman has also Qualified in the First Ridden Final and attended HOYS last year in the D/E/S (7th & Highest placed Shetland), First Ridden & Junior Small Breed M&M Finals.
